Lanzarote is famous for its miles of clean, golden beaches, fringed by the clear, warm blue-green waters of the Atlantic, ideal for scuba diving or snorkelling. The sun shines constantly from a clear blue sky, and pleasant, cooling breezes sweep across the island.

WimPen Leisure has two resorts on Lanzarote, Las Brisas and Las Casitas, on the Southern tip of the island, both providing an ideal base from which to use your hire car to explore.

There are many fascinating places to visit including the Timanfaya national Park – the “National Park of Fire Mountains” – a spectacular visual experience not be missed, also the guided tour and dine at a restaurant where the food is cooked with underground heat from the volcano. Or tour the mountains on a camel trek if you’re feeling more adventurous. Nearby Puerto del Carmen is a lively resort within easy reach with a variety of clubs, restaurants and café bars.
